Orders and Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, UPI, net banking, and popular wallets through our secure checkout. Cash on Delivery (COD) is also available across India with a small ₹49 handling fee.
Can I cancel my order after placing it?
Yes, you can cancel your order any time before it has been dispatched by emailing us at help.girivara@gmail.com or messaging us on WhatsApp. Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled, though our return policy still applies if the item arrives damaged or defective.
Can I change my address or the items in my order after placing it?
If your order hasn't been dispatched yet, contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to update it. Once dispatched, changes are no longer possible.
Do you charge GST or any hidden fees?
All prices displayed on our site are final and include applicable taxes. The only additional charge is the ₹49 COD handling fee for Cash on Delivery orders within India, and customs duties for international orders, which are payable by the customer on delivery.
Shipping and Delivery
How long does delivery take within India?
Orders are typically dispatched within 1 working day. After dispatch, metro cities usually receive their order in 2 to 3 business days, and non-metro locations in 5 to 7 business days.
How long does international delivery take?
International orders typically take 15 to 20 business days from the order date. Since packages pass through multiple customs checkpoints, occasional delays can happen.
Do I need to pay customs duty on international orders?
Yes, international shipments are sent Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU), meaning import duties, customs charges, and local taxes are the customer's responsibility and are collected on delivery.
How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, we email you a tracking link and AWB number so you can follow it in real time. You can also visit our Track Your Order page for details on how tracking works.
What happens if I miss the delivery or don't confirm the OTP?
Deliveries within India are OTP verified. If the OTP isn't confirmed or the delivery is missed after multiple attempts, the package is returned to us, and a re-shipping charge applies to send it again.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, shipping is free on all prepaid orders within India. Cash on Delivery orders carry a ₹49 handling fee. International shipping charges are calculated automatically at checkout based on order weight.
Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for items that arrive damaged or defective. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, with all tags intact. Because of the nature of jewellery, we're unable to accept returns for reasons other than damage or defect, such as size or colour preference.
How do I report a damaged or incorrect item?
Email us at help.girivara@gmail.com with clear photographs within 48 hours of delivery. Once verified, we'll arrange a replacement of the same or a similar product, subject to availability.
How long do refunds take?
Once we receive and inspect a returned item, approved refunds are credited to your original payment method within 7 working days. For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds are processed via bank transfer or UPI.
Can I exchange a product for a different size or colour?
Since our jewellery is made to order in small batches, we're currently unable to offer exchanges for size or colour preference, only for items that arrive damaged, defective, or different from what was ordered.
Product Care and Quality
Is your jewellery safe for sensitive skin?
Yes, all our jewellery is made with nickel-free, lead-free, skin-safe materials designed for comfortable, everyday wear.
How do I care for my jewellery to make it last longer?
Store each piece in a zip-lock pouch away from moisture and sunlight, wipe with a soft cloth after use, and keep it away from perfume, water, and moisturiser. Avoid metal polish or abrasive cleaners, especially on antique or oxidised finishes.
Will the colour or finish fade over time?
With the care steps above, our jewellery is built to hold its finish well. Direct, prolonged contact with water, perfume, or sweat is the most common cause of fading, so we recommend applying any perfume or hairspray before putting your jewellery on.
What materials are used in your jewellery?
Our jewellery uses zinc alloy bases with nickel-free, lead-free, skin-safe finishing, following the specific craft technique for each collection, including antique gold, oxidised silver, and stone or Kundan work.

What craft traditions do you offer?
We currently offer six craft traditions: Kundan, Rajwadi, Victorian, American Diamond, Antique, and South Indian Temple jewellery, each rooted in a distinct regional and historical tradition.
Which jewellery is best for a wedding versus daily wear?
Heavier crafts like Kundan, Rajwadi, and Victorian suit bridal and wedding occasions well, while lighter Antique and Daily Wear pieces are built for everyday use and the office. Browse our Wedding Season and Daily Wear collections to see the difference.
Do your necklace sets include earrings?
Most of our necklace sets include matching earrings, clearly listed under Set Details on each product page. A few pieces are sold as standalone items, also noted on the product page.
